Glennville Police Reports

11-10 A criminal trespass was reported after the complainant stated that when they came out of the Piggly Wiggly he found that someone had scratched racial slurs into their vehicle. He stated that he saw three juveniles around his vehicle earlier in the day. •A report of lost or mislaid property was taken after the complainant stated that while they were at a party at a friends house, they left their wedding rings in their bag in a spare room and they were now missing.

11-12 A burglary (residence forced entry) was reported where a piece of furniture was taken. •A burglary (residence forced entry) was reported where nothing was taken.

11-13 A theft by taking report was filed after the complainant stated that they left their cell phone in the pocket of her jacket and someone took the cell phone out of it without her permission. •A theft by shoplifting of a bottle of beer was reported at a local convenience store.

11-15 A gas drive off in the amount of $40.29 was reported at a local convenience store. •A criminal trespass report was filed after the owner of a local business reported that the front door of the business was forced open. Nothing was reported missing.

Reidsville Police Reports

11-10 Gary Shane Connell, 21, of Garden City, was cited for speeding. •A criminal trespass was reported at a residence where a window was broken out by an unknown individual. • A criminal trespass was reported at a residence after the complainant stated that three sprinkler heads in his yard were damaged after an unknown individual rode over them on what appeared to be a bicycle.

11-11 Flores R. Reyes, 20, of Immokelee, FL, was cited for speeding. •Reginald Wyman Green, 53, of Reidsville, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to use turn signal. •Willie Joe Boggs, 43, of Reidsville, was charged with open container law. •An accident was reported after the driver of vehicle one was facing west bound on Hwy. 280 west attempting a left turn when the driver of vehicle two struck vehicle one in the rear causing extensive damage to vehicle two and moderate damage to vehicle one. •A theft by taking of a bicycle was reported at a residence. •A theft by taking other was reported after the complainant stated that the offender was staying with him at his residence, and when he moved out, he took several items that belonged to the complainant.

11-12 Christopher L. Shrader, 33, of Reidsville, was charged with driving while license suspended (first offense). •Horacio Hernandez Mejia, 44, of Reidsville, was cited for improper turning, fleeing or attempting to elude police and no license. •An accident was reported at the intersection of Brumby and College Avenues when the driver of vehicle two was stopped at the intersection and proceeded through when the driver of vehicle one ran the stop sign and hit vehicle two in the rear passenger fender, bumper and tail light.

11-13 Robert Franklin McKinzie, 20, of Reidsville, was cited for racing (contest of speeding). •Rodney Dale Parrish, 17, of Reidsville, was cited for racing (contest of speeding). •A suspicious situation was reported.

11-14 Wesley Allen Lynn, 29, of Reidsville, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. •Alberto Peres, of Reidsville, was charged with driving without a license.

11-15 Yvonne Gordy, 44, of Hinesville, was cited for seat belt violation (child under six years of age). •Charlie Lee Averett, III, of Claxton, was charged with driving without a license.

11-16 Jorge Rodriguez Mendoza, 28, was cited for seat belt violation (child under six years of age). •An accident was reported when the driver of vehicle one was backing out of the parking spot at a local business and did not see vehicle two behind them. They struck vehicle two on the passenger side of the vehicle. •A stalking report was filed.

11-17 Rosa Lee Driggers Rewis, 33, of Reidsville, was charged with defective equipment, driving under the influence of drugs (first offense) and possession of a certain controlled substance.

11-18 A burglary (forced entry residence) was reported after the complainant stated that someone opened a window from the outside of their residence and put an object in the window to hold it open. The item was removed and the window was secured. Nothing was missing from the residence.
