Russell J. Rhoden

Russ is the owner and publisher of The Journal. He purchased the business from his father and grandfather in April 2000. Russ is married to Dawn Rhoden and they have one son, Chase. They live in Reidsville.

Allison Cobb

Allison is the Editor of The Journal. She has been employed since 2000. She lives in Glennville.

Lillian Durrence

Lillian is the General Manager of The Journal and is also in charge of Advertising and Circulation. She has worked with The Journal since 1996. She is married to Joe Durrence and they have four children and three grandchildren. They live in Reidsville.

Melinda Huling

Melinda is one of The Journal's primary staff writers and works in the office on Monday and Tuesday. She has been employed since 2001. Melinda is married to Rev. Michael Huling and they reside in Statesboro. They have three children and one grandchild.

Ronald E. McCall

Ronnie is another primary staff writer for The Journal although he doesn't work in the office. He and his wife, Barbara, live in Reidsville.

Alda Higdon

Alda is a staff writer for The Journal and also handles all of the Copy Editing. She is in the office on Monday and Tuesday. She resides in Reidsville.

Michele Rapp

Michele is the Typist for The Journal and helps with general office tasks. She resides in Reidsville with her husband, Travis, and two children.

Lavene Bell

Lavene handles many of The Journal's billing collections. She also sells advertising for special editions. She lives with her husband, Dub, near Tison.
